| On January 25, 2011, the world said good-bye to a very dear 15-year-old girl, Dani Nathan. I had known Dani since she was a baby, and was all too aware of the broken body that she was born in to. Dani maybe never knew what "healthy" was like you or I do, but she did know a joy that far surpassed what many of us experience. That's part of what made her special and made her shine. And now heaven shines a bit brighter, because Dani has gone home and is healed and whole... just as she was meant to be all along.
I wrote this song in the days that followed Dani's "graduation" from this earth, as I processed not only my own feelings of grief, but also my belief and understanding that death is not the end for those who put their hope in Jesus Christ. And Dani had done just that. I have no doubt that she is now flying with the angels and dancing on streets of gold with her Jesus. May this song bring comfort to the hearts of all who have lost someone special. Take heart, for this is not the end. This song is my gift to you. Feel free to download and share it as you wish, and may you be sweetly blessed through it. If you feel at all led to, please consider making a donation for your copy of this song. You can make it in any amount you wish using the Donate button below. All donations collected will go to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford, where Dani received care and treatment throughout her life. |

If for some reason you have trouble, you might try right-clicking the "download file" link and then click "save link as"... That's about the extent of my trouble-shooting ideas for you. :) You can also feel free to email music@lyndseybarrett.com and I'd be happy to send you the mp3.)
